Power of … is a research cycle focused on the immediate effect of elementary forms. Within strongly reduced pictorial systems, fundamental formal forces are set in relation to one another.

The works deliberately limit themselves to black and to contrasts of surface, direction, and proportion. This allows the energetic quality of the forms to emerge directly. Lines, triangles, and their variations are not combined to produce meaning, but to make their respective inherent force perceptible.

The cycle exists in different thematic variations, each focused on a specific formal system. All works are executed on wood and follow a uniform format of 60 × 60 cm. This creates a controlled field in which formal energy becomes comparable and precisely perceptible.
