The artistic practice of Darko C. Nikolić focuses on the conditions of perception and judgment. It starts from clear sensation as a foundation for how we see and understand.

The works create deliberately structured spaces for contemplation. Form, color, and structure are arranged to trigger inner movement and to direct attention inward. This inner resonance is the core subject of the artistic work.

The practice develops in research-based series. Inner movement patterns are explored, examined, and organized through formal systems. From these investigations, bodies of work emerge as coherent conceptual structures.

The work follows a cyclical model, the Circle of Exploration and Creation, in which research and creation form a continuous process.

The works are oriented toward self-experience.
