Fokus Form examines the effect of form under a far-reaching reduction of all other parameters. The works are exclusively rendered in black and white and follow a minimal formal setting.
At the center are perceptual phenomena that arise from the discrepancy between geometric structure and visual processing. Seeing follows different rules than mathematics: forms appear to bend, tilt, or shift without their construction actually changing. What becomes visible is a gray zone in which perception does not accurately reproduce, but interprets.
